Every Monday I post a devotion, blog post, or video from one of my favorite writers, speakers, or ministers. Today’s post is taken from Kelsey Shade’s blog Organizing Life With Littles. The post imitates the writing style of C.S. Lewis in his fictional book, The Screwtape Letters. Lewis’ book is a collection of letters written by a senior demon named Screwtape to his nephew, Wormwood, a younger and less experienced demon, charged with guiding a man (called “the patient”) toward “Our Father Below” (Devil / Satan) from “the Enemy” (God). In this post – Kelsey uses artistic license to change the target of wormwoods attack from “the patient” to a mother who feels unappreciated.
